Box Alarm 8-30 (Working House Fire)

     

Monday, July 25, 2011 17:12 On 7/25/11 at 1712 hours, units from Station 8 (E82, P86, B87) and Station 2 (E21, E22, TWR2) were dispatched for the 8-30 local box for smoke in the residence.  The assignment quickly was upgraded to the full box alarm when it was reported that a neighbor advised there was smoke coming from the residence.  Shortly after arrival, the task force would be called for.

E82 arrived on scene first and made entry into the front of the house, where they found a large amount of smoke and found the floor to be spongy and unsafe.  E21 arrived second and stretch a second line to the rear.  E21 forced entry into the basement and located a fire in the hallway.  E22 established R.I.T. until relieved by TWR3.  E22 then assisted E21 with fire attack.
