Shortly after 10 pm units from station 2 were dispatched to the 9500 block of Woodblock Row, in station 9's first due, for a reported garage fire. Engine 91 arrived and found fire showing from the garage and front of the house. Engine 91 and crews from station 7 began fire attack and made a quick knock on the fire. Engine 21, Tower 2, and Engine 101 were rotated into to relieve the initial crews after a short time and work on overhaul. Crews checked for extension and continued opening up. Crews operated for approximately 2 hours before returning to service.
