Late this evening, Rescue Squad 2, staffed with 5 volunteers, responded to the 8000 block of McKenstry Drive for a house fire. First arriving units reported fire showing on Side Alpha. Rescue Squad 2 was assigned to the fire attack group and assisted in opening up ceiling and extinguishing hot spots. SQ2 operated on the call for just under two hours.
