It was a busy night for crews from station 2 and 8. Around 6 pm shortly after clearing an accident scene, Engine 82 and Paramedic 85 were dispatched for a motor vehicle collision. While enroute units were advised that 911 caller were reporting that a person was trapped. The assignment was upgraded tp a rescue with entrapment. The patient was extricated and sent to shock trauma via the MSP helicopters.

Then at 9 pm units were dispatched to Baltimore National Pike for a reported building fire. Engine 21 arrived on scene to find a small fire in the back of the garage. The fire was quickly knocked down and units checked for extension. Units were in service after approximately 1 hour.
