Honor and Remembrance Ceremony

Please be advised that due to the inclement weather this weekend, the Honor and Remembrance Ceremony will be rescheduled for Sunday, October 8, 2023 at 2:00 PM.

The Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services and Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens will host its annual remembrance event to recognize fallen career and volunteer fire and rescue service members. The event will include reading the names our fallen heroes, remarks from elected and appointed officials, and a ceremonial wreath laying with choral performance. Family, friends, community members, and the media are welcome to attend the event as we commemorate those that have gone before us.
