George "Eddie" Massey born September 20, 1936 passed away on May 12, 2024.
"Eddie joined the Ellicott City Volunteer Fire Department at the age of sixteen on February 18, 1953, and became a full-time member at age 21 on September 21, 1957. He worked his way through the ranks of the volunteers from Fire Fighter to Chief, also serving on the Board of Directors. At the time of his passing, he was the oldest lifetime member of the Ellicott City Volunteer Fire Department."
