| The Ellicott City Volunteer Firemen's' Association (ECVFA) regrets to announce the passing of past member Richard (Rick) McCauley, born July 15, 1954. He passed away on May 8, 2025. Rick joined the ECVFA in 1972 and was a member until 1995, when he became a volunteer at the Elkridge Volunteer Fire Department. Rick was the President of the Howard County Volunteer Firefighters Association in 1986 and 1987. He loved being one of the members of the Howard County Fire & Rescue Train Garden Crew (50+ fire department and civic-minded community members) from 2010 until 2021.
