It was a busy night for Ellicott City. Around 1730 Engine 21 and Paramedic 25 were called to a house for a woman in labor. Upon arriving it was determined that the mother was to far along for transport to the hospital. Engine 21 and Paramedic 25 assisted the mother in delivering the child in their home. Once the baby was delivered both mother and baby were transported to Howard County General Hospital. Both mother and baby were doing well upon arrival at the hospital.

Later that evening around 8:30 pm Engine 21 and Ambulance 26 were dispatched for a person injured on a trail near Ilchester road. After arriving on the scene the person was found approximately 1/2 a mile down a trail with a leg injury. Crews from Engine 21 and Ambulance 26 placed the patient on reeves sleeve and helped moved the patient to Ambulance 26.
