Rescue With Entrapment on Route 29

Around 5:00 pm this evening Rescue Alarm 29-26 was alerted for a accident on Route 29 South Bound in the area of Route 100. The initial assignment alerted Engine 22, Tower 2, Ambulance 26 and Paramedic 25. Soon after dispatch the assignment was upgraded to a rescue with entrapment. On the upgrade Engine 81, 82, EMS 2 and Battalion Chief 2 were dispatched. Tower 2 arrived and found a vehicle overturned with the driver trapped. Tower 2 assumed the command until the arrival of Battalion 2. Engine 81 and 82 assisted Tower 2 and the driver was quickly extricated. The patient was moved to Paramedic 25 for evaluation and transport. Units cleared after about 30 minutes.
